I've Joined Some Safelists, Now How Do I Organize All Of The Chaos In My Inbox?

Safelists can be a great way to drive traffic to your website. The key, though, is to be organized, or you get lost in the chaos. Here is my little primer on organizing yourself for safelists.

When you join a safelist, most tell you to use gmail. You will need a contact email and a safelist email. You can use yournamecontact or whatever you choose, but I suggest you use the word 'contact' in your contact email username and the word 'safelist' in your safelist email username.

Here is the link to Google gmail: http://mail.google.com/

Write down your usernames and passwords for future use.

As you join each safelist, they will send you an email with a link to click on to verify you as a member. Then you will get a welcome email. When you open these emails, click on the link at the top right of your email that says,"show details."

Who the email is from will drop down. Copy the email from the from line, go up above the email by the "Search the Web" box and click on "Create a filter." A box will pop up and then paste the email address into the “From” box.

Now click "Next Step." Now choose the action "Apply the label" by clicking on the box next to those words. Click "Choose label" and "New label." Type the name you want on the label such as "GOT Safelist".

Now all of the emails from that list with that "from address" will go to that Label and you can just click on the labels to the left and all of the emails will be grouped together. You might get a few, perhaps from
administration, that don't have that exact from address, but you just copy those email addresses and apply them to the correct label so they are all in the same group.

That's how I organize all of my lists. It makes it easier to group them that way and handle all of the emails. Make sure you keep track of your usernames and passwords for your safelists, track your ads, and pay attention to your competitor's headlines/ads that are grabbing your attention.

Here is a list of my favorite traffic programs and the program that is bringing inall of my money right now.
